Kashmir — Paradise On Earth…
After 8 years of staying away from the mountains because curved roads, ups, and downs resembled sickness on the way.
Horse ride, resonated with 10 years back poor experience at Kufri. Where on the way I was screaming that “I’ll only go if I am allowed to sit with parents.” Yes, fear of fall. Followed by the change for willingly going for the adventurous horse ride. And an amazing experience.
Until I actually interacted one on one with people practicing adventure. I had a notion that ‘Adventure is Madness, it is dangerous’. The ones who do it are risking there lives. Inspirations, learnings, conquering the limitations of the mind looks like it is this what is living.
Certainly, convincing the mind and staying away from what we fear doing is easy. Going for it and experiencing the feeling of achievement is next level thing. It is in moments like these when the reason for your happiness is no one else but you.
This time neither it was long distance cycling, nor a wall climb, no trekking. Instead Riding a beautiful white horse amidst the snow-covered peaks. Pahalgam to Baisaran Valley. :)
All about the change and the journey here.
Awaiting feedback.
