A Note to Self

Not all roads will lead you to rosy gardens. There will be thorns, muddy water, stones and all other things you could possibly think of. You’ll have to cross it all. You have to rise above all.

It might take days, months. Have faith. Don’t you lose hope on the way. The call you have made is a tough one. Journey ahead is even more tough. Don’t you ever look down.

What has happened cannot be reversed. You don’t have to compare your job,
salary, position, profile with the rest of them. You have to be in your own lane.

The ones around might be working for the next big thing. While you might be still figuring out things. It’s okay. Everyone has there own time. They might get what they want before you. But, don’t you stop.

You don’t have to go behind something. For the sake of it, or do it because it is trending. Do it only if you feel like it.

Don’t you focus on where someone else has reached who once studied along with you? Then worry, compare your own self. Don’t you end up doing that? It’ll mess up everything even more.

How one perceives things is different. Needs are different. Aims and aspirations are different. Purpose of doing is different. No point going in the same lane. Or wishing about the same.

Someone might be in the best college, someone might be in the best company, someone might have taken the road less traveled by and might be working to build the company on there own, someone might be going on the world tour.
It’s okay. The chase is never-ending.

Smile, looking back how far you have come. Doing something which you at some point of time thought, you won’t be able to do.

You have already figured out the way you wish to lead your life. Look up to the person who has inspired you to make that choice.

How you’ll lead a life you have thought off… is a search you are on.

I repeat, neither should someone’s profile, position, company matter to you.
You are on your own. Somethings are already your way.

You are in a marathon with self. Not on a sprint with others.

You’ll be questioned on your choices. Amidst those, someone might peacefully listen as well. And give you the courage to fight back.

Be satisfied at heart. For it was your call.
Don’t you fear the fall.

Honest, straight from the heart things. I care about, bother about, think about, I experience. I share them here. This has a purpose behind.
